Time for something new...

I’ve shot these shrooms last fall on Kodak Tri X 400.
It was scanned in RGB mode, hence the tone and the grain was somehow increased by the scan.
I liked the outcome, the image kinda grew on me and I wanted to share it here.

Excuse the cheesy title…
I wanted to call it "Intimate Mushrooms" or "Pornographic Mushrooms" at first, but settled for a non-PG title!

and i have a mushroom fetish....mushrooms are so powerful...they bring us cures for disease, psychadelic experiences, food and now you have proved, love as well.

I like this, but don't quite love it... I'm really not sure why, but it is a nice and calming photo... makes me want it as my background actually!

I love the fact that there's not any real sharpness to the photo.

The grain, the tone and the posture of the mushrooms all project an air of meloncholy.

It's mesmerizing how the highlight cloaks the images with it's light. Almost blessing their dance.

i am glad u shared it with us, its beautiful. I love how the grain and the fogginess worked in this piece... and the lighting... never seen a mushrooms shot like this before. Simple and yet lovely. :+fav:
